Kefalonia is an island in the Ionian Sea, west of mainland Greece. It’s has sandy coves and dry rugged landscapes. The capital is Argostoli, is built which is on a hillside overlooking the harbor. Kefalonia’s coastline is made up of limestone cliffs, bays and strips of white sand and Myrtos Beach in the north. Many beaches are only accessible on foot or via narrow twisting roads.
